Driver Updates & Enrichments

Extron 64 Plus, CrossPoint and MVC DSP (TCP, ComPort Over TCP)

The firmware version is now reported with its full build number (for example 1.11.0005 rather than 1.11), and is no longer overwritten in Innomesh Portal by an unrelated message from the DSP arriving at the same time. Models that do not support the full version still report the short one.

PTZ and Document Cameras (TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, ComPort Over TCP)

A pan, tilt, zoom, focus or iris speed set above or below what the camera supports now runs at the nearest supported speed, instead of dropping to the slowest speed or the driver’s default. For example, a VISCA camera configured with a pan speed of 20 now pans at its fastest speed (18) rather than its slowest. Speeds within the camera’s range are unchanged. This applies to AVer, Axis, BirdDog, Bolin, Canon, Cisco, Crestron VISCA, Lumens VC-TR40, Minrray and VISCA cameras, and to Lumens PS752 and Wolfvision document cameras.

APC Power Distribution Unit (SSH)

Fixed the PDU failing to load when the room started, which meant it never appeared in the room or in Innomesh Portal.

Panasonic RQ/RS/RZ Series Projector (TCP, ComPort Over TCP)

Fixed an invalid model and serial number being shown in Innomesh Portal.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed devices repeatedly dropping their connection and showing as offline in Innomesh Portal when the room sent them a command their driver does not recognise, such as a room link mute configured with a DSP block the device does not accept. This affected Extron DSPs in particular from v2.24.0.
  • Fixed a secondary room’s room link mute being ignored unless it named a DSP block. It can now be set with a Block ID, a Channel ID or both, so DSPs that mute by channel alone, such as Shure and Symetrix, can be used.
