The Options Menu appears when hovering over the Options button in the top right corner of a Space CE template configuration popup window. This menu provides access to template management and configuration tools.
Most options are available both while creating a template and when editing an existing one. Push Updates to Rooms, Duplicate Template, and Delete Template only become available once the template has been created.
Download as JSON
Saves the Space CE template configuration as a JSON file for backup or reuse. See Saving a Template to JSON.
Copy Device IDs
This option only appears if the template has enabled devices. It displays a table of associated devices. Hovering over each device reveals its ID, which can be copied to the clipboard for use when editing configurations.
Set Available Devices
Restricts which device profiles can be added to rooms created from this template, so rooms use only standardised, approved hardware. See Device Configuration Enforcement for how to configure the restriction list and the permissions that govern it.
Push Updates to Rooms
Pushes the template configuration out to the rooms that use this template. When this opens, a menu shows that allows you to select which rooms to push the template to.
Update XPanel Settings
Allows a custom Crestron XPanel to be associated to the template.
Update VC-4 Gateway XPanel Settings
Allows a VC-4 Gateway XPanel to be associated to the template. This is used when VC-4 Gateway is used as a conduit for running Crestron SmartGraphics with Space CE rooms. See VC-4 Gateway.
Update Remote Web Panels
Allows the name of web panels to be defined. Note that web panel URLs are only definable at the room.
Update VNC Settings
Allows the name of touch panels accessible via VNC to be defined. Actual VNC settings are only definable at the room.
Duplicate Template
Duplicates this template as a starting point for a new template.
Load Template from File
Loads a previously saved JSON or zip file into this template. See Loading a Template from a JSON File.
Delete Template
Deletes this template.
